Welcome! My name is Caroline Johannes and I have been the Speech-Language Pathologist at Columbus ISD since I joined the Cardinal Family in 2000.  My caseload includes students aged 3 - 22 years with Speech and/or Language Impairments affecting articulation, receptive and expressive language, voice, and fluency.

 

I graduated in 1991 with a Bachelor of Arts with honors in Psychology and went on to complete a 3 year graduate program in 1994, obtaining a Master of Science in Human Communication Disorders from Dalhousie University.  After graduation, and before becoming a school-based SLP, I worked with the adult and geriatric population.  

 

For the past 17 years, it has been my privilege to work with area students to ensure that they reach their full potential in communication!  I believe that all children have the right to be given a means to communicate effectively and the ability to do so!
