Superintendent's Message

Welcome to the Columbus Independent School District website. Our desire is for you to find this site user friendly and easily navigated. Columbus I.S.D. serves the educational needs of over 1500 students. Columbus I.S.D. is located in beautiful, historic Columbus, TX, on the banks of the majestic Colorado River. Our district shares the same small-town charm as our town, and for that we are very proud. We provide a safe educational setting for our students and faculty, as this is our top priority. Columbus I.S.D. works daily to meet the needs of all our students and to ensure that the education they receive is of the highest quality. Upon graduation our all our students will be ready for college, a career or the military. We believe that you will not find a more dedicated faculty, who will provide the best educational experience for your children in Colorado County, or the State of Texas. Our teachers, paraprofessionals and principals are dedicated professionals who work tirelessly to provide a 21st century education for all students. Our office staff, maintenance, custodians and transportation personnel work to provide the best learning environment possible and we are thankful for every one of them. We are excited to work with you, to provide the highest quality education our students deserve. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns.
