Enrollment/Registration

If you are new to Columbus ISD, click the New Students button below. An enrollment specialist will follow up with you at their earliest convenience. Campus offices will be closed June 13-July 15, 2024. 
 
If you are a returning student to Columbus ISD, login and complete the 2024-2025 Returning CISD Student Registration form for each student. More information on how to navigate your Family Access Portal can be found on our Skyward Family Access Support page.

Required Documents for Student Registration

  • Government Issued Photo ID (Parent/Guardian enrolling child that lives in CISD)
  • Child's Official Certified Birth Certificate or Passport
  • Proof of Residency (Current July/August electric/cable/water bill with service address or voter registration card showing current address)
  • Current Immunization Records
  • Report Card (from previous school) 
  • Withdrawal Form (from previous school)

Parents, if you are missing a returning child in your current Family Access account please DO NOT create another Family Access account.  Instead, contact the child’s campus registrar so your child can be added to your existing Family Access Account.  Thanks for your help as we begin the new school year.
 
 
*If you reside outside of Columbus ISD, you are required to fill out a Student Transfer Packet.  The packet must be reviewed and approved by both the campus principal and the Superintendent. 
 
*If you live in someone else's home and the bills are in their name, the parent will need a Proof of Residency Affidavit. 
 
*If you have a child living in your home that is not biologically yours or you do not have court appointed papers stating that you are the legal guardian, you will need to fill out a Voluntary Caregiver Authorization Agreement
