Video/Audio Conferencing Notice for Board Meeting:

Video/Audio Conferencing Notice: Pursuant to the Governor Abbott’s Temporary Suspension of Open Meetings Laws issued on March 16, 2020 and the Governor’s order dated March 19,2020, prohibiting gatherings of 10 or more people, this meeting will be conducted via video conference or audio conference which will be audible and/or viewable to the Board and public. The Board President, presiding officer or trustees may not be physically present at one location but a quorum will be required for the meeting. The public may access this meeting by logging on to the Columbus ISD Facebook Page, An electronic copy of the agenda packet may be viewed at the following link:
A recording of the meeting will be available for viewing on the District’s website.
Should you wish to address the board during public comment, please submit your comments to Theresa Portwood via e-mail at, prior to the beginning of the meeting. Your comments will be provided to all board members attending the meeting during the public comment portion of the board meeting and will be read aloud. You must identify yourself for your comments to be considered and state the item you are addressing. Please put the following in the subject line: “Public Comment for 4/20/2020 Board Meeting.”
