The Columbus Junior High School Chapter of the National Honor Society was founded to promote the scholorship, character, leadership, citizenship, and service of students in our school. NJHS is a program that focuses on leadership and academic excellence. As a group we participate in the following activities; collecting food goods and money for the needy, designing and participating in activities with kindergarten students, school dances, fieldtrips, fund raisers, and other activities that positively contribute to the standards set forth by this chapter of NJHS. It is hoped that through the promotion of these ideals that our members will demonstrate a desire to use his or her talents not only for the enrichement of our school but also and more importantly for the improvement of society.
