National Honor Society

Membership in the National Honor Society is one of the highest honors that can be awarded to a high school student.  Membership, however, is more than an honor.  It carries with it more than certain privileges.  It incurs a responsibility and an obligation to demonstrate those outstanding qualities that resulted in selection.

The purpose of the National Honor Society is to:

• Create enthusiasm for scholarship

• Stimulate a desire to render service

• Develop character in students

• Promote leadership
