This page is designed as an Overview of the District 's Educational Programs that are currently in use at our individual campuses. - provides a total educational program for students in preKindergarten through fifth grade;
- offers all-day Kindergarten and half-day Early Childhood and Pre-K programs;
- participates in UIL academic events;
- provides students in
grades 1-5 with the Earobics and Accelerated Reading
Initiative Reading Lab to strengthen reading and language arts skills;
- offers other academic programs including:
Accelerated Reader, Accelerated Math, STAR Math, STAR
Reading, Math Facts in a Flash, and Math Blaster:
- offers Rising Star and Cardinal Wings literature publications;
- has a Gifted and Talented program;
- offers a variety of instructional settings for students with special needs;
- coordinates a volunteer
program and encourages an active PTO;
- offers choir, a music
class, and daily physical education class;

utilizes Character Counts/Character
Education Program;

AR Family Reading night on a monthly basis in the CES
library;
- Good News
Club every Wednesday; and

after school tutorials offered for
remediation.

- operates on a traditional seven-period day and is a no locker campus;
- offers courses for high school credit in Algebra and Integrated Physics and Chemistry;
- has a Gifted and Talented program;
- offers a variety of instructional settings for students with special needs;
- offers computer technology and computer literacy classes;
- offers extracurricular activities including boys and girls athletics, Band, National Junior Honor Society, Math Club and Student Council;
- participates in UIL Academic competitions;
- hosts thematic events with the community;
- offers other academic programs such as Accelerated Reader,
TAKS Olympics, and Peer Mediation;
- encourages an active PTO.

- offers Tech-Prep training in welding, drafting, agriscience, technology, family consumer science, and health science;

- offers a variety of instructional settings for students with special needs;
- has four modern computer labs and the Internet accessible to all students;
- offers extracurricular activities including boys and girls athletics, Band, FFA, FHA, Spanish Club, Art Club, HOSA, National Honor Society, Math club, SADD, FEA, and Student Council;
- encourages an active PTO;
- offers concurrent credit courses with Blinn College
